About Me

Personal Journey

I’ve always been creative, with a passion for painting and drawing that led me to study communication design at a private art school in Detroit, Michigan. There, I focused on graphic design and illustration while learning to design for specific audiences, build brands, and create thoughtful, solution-oriented work beyond aesthetics.

Career Change

After graduation, the shift from print to digital pushed me to self-learn web design skills. I entered healthcare as part of a digital marketing and web strategy team, where I gained exposure to the impact of digital tools on patient experiences. As UX design grew across industries, I recognized my alignment with the field and formally expanded my expertise through UX Academy, learning the full design thinking process—from research and ideation to testing and iteration.

Applicable Skills

I bring a strong foundation in UI design, web analytics, usability testing, and user feedback, combined with hands-on experience in research-driven design. My work emphasizes empathy, especially in sensitive healthcare contexts, and focuses on creating user-centered solutions backed by data. I thrive in collaborative environments and aim to continue growing in product design, with long-term goals of leading innovative, user-focused teams.
